Les merEtterretning og sikkerhet i Bosnia Herzegovina
NUPIs avdeling for sikkerhet og konflikthåndtering har fått 9,2 millioner kroner fra UD for å støtte profesjonaliseringen av etterretnings- og sikkerhetssektoren i Bosnia-Hercegovina.
Les merAvdelingen driver anvendt forskning, policyanalyse, konseptutvikling og assistanse innenfor flernasjonale multidimensjonale operasjoner og tilgrensende felter. Vi arbeider med både sivile og militære partnere i nasjonale og internasjonale sammenhenger. Avdelingen har som mål å kunne dekke de fleste fasetter av fredsstøtteoperasjoner fra intervensjon til langsiktig fredsbygging og sikkerhetssektorreform. Avdelingen kan også gjøre evalueringer av pågående nasjonale og internasjonale prosjekter og operasjoner.
Avdelingen består av fem programmer med til sammen ti forskere, rådgivere og militærstipendiater i Oslo og tre i Sarajevo. Ytterligere ti-femten forskere fra de andre avdelingene på NUPI og fra andre institusjoner, deltar i avdelingens prosjekter. Slike løsninger gir både faglig bredde og operativ fleksibilitet.
