Professor Adam Azzain Mohamed from the University of Khartoum is this year's Claude Ake Visiting Chair in Uppsala. Professor Adam Azzain Mohamed is from Darfur himself and conducting research on the Darfur-to-Darfur dialogue.
The Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala serves as a research, documentation and information centre on modern Africa for the Nordic countries.
