Dr. Willy Lam has held senior editorial positions with regional and international media including Asiaweek, South China Morning Post, and the Asia-Pacific Office of CNN. He is the author of six books about China, including China after Deng Xiaoping, The Era of Jiang Zemin and Chinese Politics in the Hu Jintao Era. Lam is a professor of China Studies at Akita International University, Japan and adjunct professor of history at Chinese University of Hong Kong.
