Towards Change in Concepts and Approaches?
In 2010 the UN Peacebuilding Commission will be under review and strategic reassessments are also currently being made of peacebuilding more broadly. This conference creates space for a critical discussion on the question of whether the current mainstream peacebuilding approach is conceptually and structurally flawed. The conference takes a broad look at peacebuilding by identifying key issues of concern and highlighting potentially promising foci of innovation and reform.
