The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs has the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar:

The EU and Central Asia
The EU is currently reworking its Central Asia strategy, which was first adopted in 2007. The establishment of the European External Action Service (EEAS) was supposed to increase the coherence and efficiency of EU foreign policy.

Indra Øverland from NUPI will discuss European diplomatic representation in Central Asia and the South Caucasus since 1991. Two of Europe’s leading experts on the EU and Central Asia, Neil Melvin and Jos Boonstra, will share insights from their latest work.
