The Responsibility to Protect in the Asia-Pacific
– Problems and Progress
Alex J. Bellamy and Sara E. Davies will present the positions of Asia-Pacific governments – both their concerns and the policy initiatives that they are prepared to support. Bellamy and Davies will also discuss the way forward for progressing the R2P principle in the Asia-Pacific region.
Alex J. Bellamy is Professor of International Relations and Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect.
Dr Sara E. Davies is an ARC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Griffith Asia Institute and Centre for Governance and Public Policy, Griffith University; and the Research Director of the APR2P Centre.
