[27.08.12] Value chain analysis - bridging the gap?
The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs has the pleasure of inviting you to a lecture by the 2012 Stuland research award winner, Karl Rich:
Value chain analysis - bridging the gap?
How can the concepts and tools of value chain analysis be a unifying way of bridging the different disciplines and groups within a research institute?
International economist Karl Rich will provide examples from past research and some ideas on ways forward in his Stuland research award lecture.
Karl Rich has been at NUPI for two years. During this time he has, alone and in cooperation with other authors, published seven chapters and articles in scientific journals, three of them in level 2 journals. Two more articles are currently in the process of being published.
Rich was awarded the title Research Professor by an international committee in 2011. By 5 May 2012 he had an h-factor of 5 in Harzing's Publish or Perish, the most widely used quantitative method for the combined measuring of productivity and citation frequency.
