[28.03.11] Workshop on POC Training Development
The purpose of the workshop is to get feedback and input from the mission experts on the draft
PoC training modules and scenario-based exercises developed by DPKO’s Integrated Training
Service (ITS). Based on the feedback generated by the mission experts, as well as that obtained from Member
States; UN departments, agencies, funds and programmes; and other partners, DPKO will refine
and finalize the training materials.
This workshop is thus an important step in ensuring that the training materials are informed by the
experiences and expertise that resides in the UN’s peacekeeping missions responsible for
implementing PoC mandates.
Participation in this workshop is by invitation only.
