Dette notatet gir støtte for markedsspesifikke faste og ugjenkallelige kostnader i bedrifters eksportmarkeder. Slike kostnader bidrar til at eksportører blir værende i eksportmarkedene når de først er etablert der. Når bedrifter har eksportert til et marked året før, øker sannsynligheten for å betjene dette markedet året etter til det dobbelte. Funnene gir også støtte for læringseffekter og spillover effekter fra andre foretak på kostnadene ved eksport.
