Pågående forskning
Fungerende avdelingsleder for Avdeling for Russland og Eurasia. Leder for NUPIs energiprogam. Leder Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR-prosjektet). Er i tillegg involvert i The Caspian Sea Petroleum Region, Regional Confidence-Building for Think-Tanks in the South Caucasus and Central Asia og Finsk-Norsk energidialog. Sitter i referansegruppen for Rederiforbundets prosjekt om Geopolitics in the High North.
