Stina Torjesen
Forsvarte sin doktorgradsavhandling ved Oxford University 11. januar, 2008. Tittelen på avhandlingen: Understanding regional co-operation in Central Asia 1991-2004 . Avhandlingen gir en analyse av utenrikspolitikken og statsstrukturer i de fire Sentral-asiatiske landene: Kasakhstan, Kirgisistan, Usbekistan og Tadsjikistan.
Jobber nå med en treårig ’Post-Doc’ under det NFR finansierte prosjektet The political economy of DDR, hvor Stina Torjesens fokus er Afghanistan. Deltar dessuten i prosjektet RUSSCASP (Russian and Caspian energy developments and their implications for Norway and Norwegian actors), her koordinerer Stina Torjesen arbeidspakken ‘Caspian regimes and business climate’.
