Pågående forskning

Neumann er Montague Burton-professor ved London School of Economics fra og med høsten 2012 og forsker også ved NUPI.

Han er også adjunct professor ved Universitetet for miljø- og biovitenskap i Ås og visiting professor ved universitetet i Beograd. Han er for tiden involvert i samarbeidsprosjekter med serbiske forskere, et bokprosjekt om den eurasiske steppens historiske sosiologi i samarbeid med Einar Wigen og et bokprosjekt om diplomati for Hearst.
