The study will also situate Norwegian SSR approaches within the context of rapidly developing international and regional frameworks for SSR, and will assess the implications of these developments for future Norwegian policy. The final objective of the study is to identify Norway’s comparative advantages and niche capacities, and how it might develop a more effective value-added approach to influence the rapidly evolving field of SSR and peacebuilding more generally.
