Njord WeggeSenior Research Fellow
Njord Wegge is a senior research fellow at NUPI focusing on issues of security and defense, including issues pertaining to ‘Hybrid Warfare’, intelligence and national security.
Wegge also work on issues pertaining to international relations, geopolitics and security in the Arctic and holds an adjunct Associate Professor position at the University at Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway, where he defended his Ph.D. focusing on international relations in the Arctic. Wegge Wegge is editor in political science in Arctic Review on Law and Politics, an international peer-reviewed journal for Arctic studies. Wegge has previously worked as a senior researcher at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, The Norwegian Parliamentary Intelligence Oversight Committee and he has been a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley.
