Ole Jacob SendingResearch Director
Ole Jacob Sending does research on global governance, with a particular focus on the role of international and non-governmental organizations in peacebuilding, humanitarian relief, and development. His publications have appeared, inter alia, in International Studies Quarterly, European Journal of International Relations, and International Theory.
Sending is co-author, with Iver B. Neumann, of Governing the Global Polity (2010, University of Michigan Press). His new book, Competing for Authority in Global Governance, is forthcoming, also with University of Michigan Press. Another book (co-edited with Iver B. Neumann and Vincent Pouliot), Diplomacy: The Making of World Politics, is forthcoming with Cambridge University Press. Sending is currently part of the editorial team of International Studies Quarterly.
