Speech by Afghanistan's Ambassador to Norway, H.E. Manizha Bakhtari
The purpose of the London Conference on Afghanistan 28 January 2010 is to focus the international community on a clear set of priorities across the 43-nation coalition and marshal the maximum international effort to help the Afghan government to deliver. More information on London Conference.
Manizha Bakhtari was appointed as Afghan Ambassador to the Nordic countries in September 2009. Prior to her ambassadorial assignment, Ms Bakhtari was the chief of staff of the Afghan foreign minister and a part-time lecturer at Kabul University.
The speech is followed by a dialogue between Ambassador Manizha Bakthari and NUPI director Jan Egeland. The seminar takes place between 11.00 and 12.00.
