Japanese perspectives on Asian security

The Norwegian Institute of International affairs (NUPI) hosts a seminar on Asian security in collaboration with the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and the Embassy of Japan. Main topics are security architecture in East Asia; Japan-US-China relations and security cooperation between Japan and Europe.

The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) together with the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and The Embassy of Japan are hosting a seminar on the topic of Asian security. Seminar speakers will give presentations on central aspects of security in the region.

More about the speakers:

Professor Koichi Sato works within the field of Asia-Pacific security studies at the J.F. Oberlin University.
Professor Seiichiro Takagi does work on China and international relations in Asia-Pacific at the Aoyama Gakuin University.
Mr. Michito Tsuruoka works for the National Institute for Defense Studies and focuses on international politics in Europe as well as US-Europe and Japan-Europe relations.
