Mikael Rask Madsen:
Transnational Power Elites: How to Study the Entrepreneurs of the Global

Mikael Rask Madsen is Director of Courts – Centre of Excellence for International Courts and a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen. He is originally trained in law, but turned to sociology for his doctoral studies and spent eight years in Paris at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, working at the research centre of Pierre Bourdieu. His research concerns the globalisation of law and legal professionals. Recent publications include The European Court of Human Rights between Law and Politics
