Georgia after the 2012 elections – geopolitical choices?
After the parliamentary elections in October 2012, Georgia’s new government has signalled continued ambitions to join NATO and deepen cooperation with the EU, while at the same time attempting to improve relations with Russia. Georgia’s State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Mr. Aleksi Petriashvili, will share his thoughts about the development, followed by a Q&A session.
