Mr. Bogdan 
Aurescu is State Secretary for Strategic Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania. He has been Romania's Chief-negotiator of the bilateral Agreement between Romania and the USA on Missile Defence.
Michael Mayer is a senior fellow at the Centre for Transatlantic Studies at IFS.
