Ida Dokk Smith

Ida is a Senior Research Fellow in the Research group for climate and energy. She wrote her thesis in Political Science at the University of Oslo, centered around the politics of energy transitions in the US and the relationship between policy and technological change.

Her primary research interests are climate, energy and environmental politics. She has studied international relations, sustainable development and economics in New York, Washington DC and Bergen. She has done fieldwork in the US and developing countries on renewable energy market development and resource management.
