The 2014 Euromaidan revolution has resulted in a fundamental reorientation of Ukraine’s relations with the outside world. The strong desire among the protesters at the Euromaidan for reconnecting with Europe and European integration processes has profoundly changed Ukraine. At the same time Russia reacted to these changes with aggression through the annexation of Crimea and continued involvement in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Galibarenko will provide an overview of Ukraine’s current priorities and perspectives on Ukraine’s place in the world.
