Europe towards a new political and economic era
In 2012 Europe is facing vast challenges as well as political and economic changes. 2012 also marks the 20 year anniversary for Norway’s signing of the EEA agreement, and 50 years since Norway signed the Helsinki accords. The Norwegian government will present a white paper this fall on Norwegian relations with Europe.

This year's Agenda Conference is devoted to discussing central developments in Europe and how these developments will affect Norway. Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre will open the conference and Fernando Gentilini of the European External Action Services will give the key note speech. Three Agenda lectures will look at the changes we see in Europe through the prisms of economy, foreign policy and energy and resources before we open up for debate about Norway's role in a changing Europe.
