The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs in collaboration with Chatham House has the pleasure of inviting you to a conference:
Dialogue in International Crises
Dialogue is part and parcel of diplomacy and is hailed as a precondition for all other efforts of conflict resolution. Dialogue has also become central to Norwegian foreign policy. But what do we know about the character and effect of dialogue when it matters the most – in times of crises?
Professor Peter Coleman of Columbia University, Erik Solheim, renowned journalist and author Ahmed Rashid and NUPI's Ole Jacob Sending and Pernille Rieker are among the knowledgeable participants at this conference.
The conference is part of the NUPI/Chatham House project Cultural Dialogue in International Security.
