The Department of International Economics at NUPI has the great pleasure of inviting you to the seminar:

The presentation will be based on the book chapter 'Assessing the Effects of EU Trade Preferences for Developing Countries', co-written with Maria Persson, Lund University. The seminar will discuss the effect of EU trade preferences for exports from developing countries to the EU. It is shown that the preferences have increased exports but that the enlargements of the EU during the studied period have reduced exports from developing countries to the new EU-members.
