Andreas Lind Kroknes

Andreas Lind Kroknes is working as a research assistant at the Research group on Peace, Conflict and Development.

Andreas is finishing his master`s degree in Political Science at the University of Oslo. His Master`s thesis is centered around the question of succession and political stability in Chad.

His interests include issues of peace and conflict, state-building, succession in autocratic and fragile states and great-power competition in Africa. Kroknes` key area of interest has been the Sahel region, which separates sub-Saharan and northern Africa.
