Eskil Jakobsen
Junior Research FellowEskil Jakobsen is employed as a junior research fellow at NUPI's Centre for Digitalization and Cyber Security Studies. He is currently working on the GAIA project and the C3SA project.
Eskil holds a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Tromsø. In his thesis he examined cooperation between key actors within the Norwegian cybersecurity apparatus regarding their handling of cyber-incidents. His primary research interests include cyber conflict, cross-sector cooperation, multistakeholder-initiatives and government surveillance.

2022 - 2024 (Ongoing)Our times are shaped by developments in geopolitical power dynamics, fast-paced technological development and climate change. In this research program NUPI analyses how these developments change the security landscape of the North-Atlantic area and the implications this has for Norwegian security.
