Maria Gilen Røysamb
Research AssistantMaria Gilen Røysamb is a Junior Research Fellow in the Research Group on Peace, Conflict and Development at NUPI.
Røysamb has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo and a BA in comparative politics from the University of Oslo. In her master thesis she examined the variation in state repression as a result of different power-sharing arrangements, in a global sample and in post-conflict states.
Røysamb has work experience from the Norwegian Embassy in Ankara and currently works part time at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her main research interests include conflict resolution, minority rights, power-sharing and the Middle East.
