Maria Gilen Røysamb
Junior Research FellowMaria Gilen Røysamb is a Junior Research Fellow in the Research Group on Peace, Conflict and Development and works primarily on the project ICT4COP.
Røysamb has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo and a BA in comparative politics from the University of Oslo. In her master thesis she examined the variation in state repression as a result of different power-sharing arrangements, in a global sample and in post-conflict states.
Røysamb has work experience from the Norwegian Embassy in Ankara and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her main research interests include conflict resolution, minority rights, power-sharing and the Middle East.
