Mathilde Tomine Eriksdatter Giske


Mathilde Tomine Eriksdatter Giske works as an advisor in the Research group for peace, conflict and development at NUPI.

She holds two master’s degrees, one in political science and one in history, from the University of Agder. Giske’s master’s thesis in political science analysed EU foreign policy, with a particular focus on the concept of “resilience”.

Her research interests revolve around the UN and the Security Council, EU foreign and security policy and European integration, global order, transnational relations, women, peace and security, political extremism and power structures.
