My Rafstedt
Research FellowMy Rafstedt is a research fellow in the Research Group on Peace, Conflict and Development.
Her primary research interest is the inequalities experienced by women and minorities as a consequence of legal change, public policies and gendered violence, with a focus on Europe. Her PhD is focused on labour reforms in Spain following the financial crisis and their effect on different sub-groups of women. This work is part of the research project Legal Regimes and Women’s Economic Agency (with Francesca R. Jensenius and Mala Htun), which aims to investigate the impact of legal regimes and legal changes on women’s economic agency across the world.
Rafstedt holds a BA in Politics with International Relations from the University of York, and an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
