Abdyrakhman Sulaimanov has been a visiting research fellow and a member of the Research Group on Russia, Asia, and International Trade at NUPI.
In 2018, Sulaimanov graduated with a MA degree in Politics and Security (Central Asia) from the OSCE Academy in Bishkek defending the thesis on “China’s Belt and Road Initiative versus the National Interests of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan”.
While obtaining a B.A. in International Relations from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, he was a research assistant at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) in Ankara (Turkey) in 2016.
Abdyrakhman Sulaimanov ’s academic and professional interests are international relations theories, Central Asian political economy and China’s foreign policy.
