Elsa Lilja Gunnarsdottir
Elsa Lilja Gunnarsdottir is research assistant for the project Norway and the EU towards 2030 and is part of the Research group on security and defence.
Before joining NUPI (2019-2022) she worked at the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA) in Brussels, and got a thorough introduction into Norways relationship with the EU through the EEA Agreement. She has previously interned at the Conflict Analysis Research Centre in Kent and at the Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo, and wrote a masters degree on European integration. She was awarded the scholarship for peace and security for 2022 by the OSCE and United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA), taking part in an intensive training on security, arms control and disarmament agreement and institutions.
