The Horn of Africa refugee crisis
The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs in collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Refugee Studies Centre in Oxford, has the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar:
The Horn of Africa - how can the refugee crisis be resolved?
A vast number of people live as refugees on the Horn of Africa and in the surrounding countries. Recurring wars and food- and climate crisis keep them from returning to their homes. How can the international community resolve such complex crisis? Why do they occur and what can be done to keep them from happening?
The report Between Protracted and Crisis Displacement
deals with several countries, among them Somalia, and sheds light on the connection between refugees, conflict and peace building.
