Summary
Charlotte Børing is a Junior Research Fellow in the Research group on Russia, Asia, and International Trade, and specializes in security issues and foreign policy in East Asia.
Børing has a master's degree in political science, a bachelor's degree in political science, and a bachelor's degree in Japanese from the University of Oslo. Her master’s thesis explored US-Japan missile defense cooperation and alliance cohesion against a rising China and a shifting regional order in the Indo-Pacific. She has previously worked as a trainee at the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo.
