Drawing on observations and experiences from a long career in international politics, European affairs and academia, President Stubb will explain how the three concepts of values, interests and power provide a framework for examining the intersection of technology and geopolitics. He will highlight the need for democracies to adapt to the new technological and geopolitical reality in order to safeguard and advance their values.

H.E. President Stubb has served as Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Foreign Trade and European Affairs and Minister of Finance of Finland and was Member of European Parliament and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) from 2017 to 2020. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
