Summary

Benedicte is a Master’s student in Political Science at the University of Oslo and a research assistant at NUPI in the Research Group for Global Order and Diplomacy. She is currently working on her master’s thesis on Norwegian science policy in Svalbard in the context of heightened geopolitical tensions involving Russia, China, and the United States. She holds two bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies (with Arabic), and has completed parts of her studies in Italy, Jordan, and Denmark. She has also served as an intern at the Norwegian Embassy in Budapest.
