Summary

Bagus is currently pursuing a PhD in International Business at the University of Agder, with a focus on the decarbonisation of the nickel industry. At NUPI, he is a Junior Research Fellow affiliated with the Centre for Energy Research and NUPI's research group for climate and energy. From previously, he holds a MSc in Sustainability Management, also from the University of Agder, and a MSc in Advanced Power Systems Engineering from the University of Manchester. His research explores the socio-technical dynamics of energy transitions and industrial decarbonisation, with a particular emphasis on Southeast Asia. Bagus is especially interested in how social and technological factors shape the pathways and pace of decarbonisation.
