Julie Askeland Caspersen

Summary

Julie is a master’s student and research assistant at NUPI in the Research Group for Peace, Conflict and Development. She is currently enrolled in the master’s program in Peace & Conflict Studies at the University of Oslo, where she is now writing her master’s thesis. The thesis examines the impact of UN peacekeeping operations on human rights in host countries, and her interests include conflict, peacebuilding, security policy, and international organizations. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics and Policy from the University of Liverpool and has previously served as an intern at PRIO.
