Why do some choose to leave white supremacist groups? Research on violent extremism has largely focused on exploring radicalization, with much less research exploring the end of that cycle: disengagement from violent extremism. The Consortium for Research on Terrorism and International Crime and C-REX have invited Peter Simi, University of Nebraska in Omaha, to present some of the main findings from his recent research project.
