NATO 3.0 and the role of Ukraine
Ukraine is still fighting against the Russian invasion, and as the war has progressed, the country has obtained skills, developed tools and learned lessons that European NATO-members are learning from. Beyond the war, it has sunk in across Europe that Ukraine will play a pivotal role in preserving future European security.
But what can this come to look like in practice? What practical arrangements and institutional affiliations should be pursued for Ukraine as NATO 3.0 emerges? And what will be the role of the EU and the potential membership of Ukraine in the bloc?
In this event, former Foreign Minister of Ukraine (2020-2024), Dmytro Kuleba, sits down to discuss these issues.
The event is a co-organised event between the European Council of Foreign Relations (ECFR) and NUPI’s Ukraine Centre.
