Overcoming Legal and Support Obstacles to Peacekeeping Strategic Force Generation (OLSOPSFG)
The projects looks at a a joint collaboration between Norway and other UN member states for a rotational agreement to provide a transport plane to MINUSMA.
The project will look closer at the rotational arrangement for providing a C-130 transport plane to the UN stabilization mission in Mali (MINUSMA), where Norway and a group of member states jointly provide this capability. The rotational arrangement is innovative and useful, but as it is a new mode of contributing capabilities it also has its own set of challenges and lessons.
The project is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence.
