NUPI co-hosts two events during the first-ever Peacebuilding Week in NYC
NON-VIOLENCE: The sculpture "Non-Violence" by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd stands on a platform near the public entrance of the United Nations complex. The sculpture is a large replica of a .45 calibre revolver with a twisted barrel, to symbolise peace and non-violence.

The inaugural Peacebuilding Week offers a series of anchor events under the overall theme of "UN Peacebuilding @20 – Partnerships for Innovation, Inclusion and Impact", as well as a number of side events. NUPI is co-hosting two of these:
