The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs has the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar:

The future role of Peacekeeping Operations
What are the major issues and challenges with peacekeeping at the moment, and how is peacekeeping likely to change in the next 3-5 years?

Topics that will be subjects for debate include the financial situation, the role of emerging powers and regional actors, as well as the impact of new real time media and other technologies in conflicts and post-conflict situations. These issues will be looked upon in relation to what kind of changes one can expect on policy, troops and police, but also what types of missions that are likely to be deployed in the future.

This event is now closed for sign up.
