NUPI-forskar Halvard Leira i redaktørkollegiet for "European Journal of International Relations"

The renowned journal EJIR has a new editorial team, and Research Professor Halvard Leira is one of four associate editors.

After a competitive selection process involving scholars from all over Europe, the new editorial team team won the contract.

The function of Editor-in-Chief is assumed by Professor Oliver Kessler, Professor of International Relations. He is supported in the editorial work by four associate editors: Research Professor Halvard (NUPI), Dr. Zeynep Gülşah Çapan, visiting scholar, and Professor Sophia Hoffmann, junior professor of international politics and conflict studies (both University of Erfurt), as well as Belgian political scientist Jorg Kustermans is part of the editorial team.

The European Journal of International Relations (EJIR) is the leading scientific journal of international relations in Europe, and I very much look forward to take part in developing it further during the next four years,’ says Halvard Leira.

EJIR receives approximately 450 submissions annually, which are peer-reviewed. Since the journal's inception in 1995, EJIR has become an important and independent voice in international relations theory, and has continued to redefine the boundaries of the discipline throughout its just over 25-year history. The journal's current impact factor is 4.023.
